Originally conceived as a theatrical triptych in sound, movement and video, <em>Reckoning<\/em> is an incendiary presentation of three separate experiences with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Tuesday, December 15, 2015, the final report of Canada\u2019s Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) was released. The TRC was a government-led inquiry into the impact of the Indian Residential School system and the possibilities for restitution in its wake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The TRC has issued ninety-four calls to action as a way of advising every Canadian on how they can contribute to restitution and harmony. This production, which debuted on stage in April of 2016, is an act of continuing that work.
